Development of the Periodic Table

In this video, we look at the development of the periodic table. First we look at early attempts to organise the known elements into some sort of periodic table. We then look at the work of Dmitri Mendeleev and what he did to develop the modern periodic table. Finally, we explore how the periodic table we use today is different from that developed by Mendeleev.
